Freeman Spur, Illinois has a hospital. Freeman Spur has many medical professionals operating in a variety of specialties. Fundamental healthcare begins with an individual or family?s access to a general physician, call it a family doctor or for children, a Pediatrician and for women a Gynecologist. Certainly, for people like me, a good therapist; better yet, a Psychiatrist! But why is it that someone in Freeman Spur, Illinois cannot locate a physician that will take new patients?
CityBlog Freeman Spur, was struck by the frustration that was apparent in Susie Pena’s (a Freeman Spur, Illinois resident) post on May 9, 2007, which read as follows:
I have been here 1 year this June and have yet to find a doctor that will accept new patients. I am very discouraged that there is no avenue for new residents to find out who is available without a lot of labor intensive efforts.
Does Freeman Spur have a physician association or, does the hospital know of new physicians coming into Freeman Spur that are looking for new patients?
